MAP can update your Amazon Ads campaigns through AI, but only when you turn it on. Enable Edit Mode in the chat, or grant write access when you connect via MCP. The AI tells you what it wants to change and waits for you to say yes. Everything is logged.
Two ways to turn it on, depending on where you work.
There's an Edit Mode toggle in the MAP chat. Turn it on and the AI can propose changes. Turn it off and you're back to read-only.
When you connect an MCP client, the OAuth screen asks which permissions to grant. Check write access to let the AI propose edits. Revoke it from the Integrations page whenever you want.
Tell the AI what to change in plain English.
Pause or enable campaigns, change daily budgets, switch bidding strategy. Works with SP, SB, and SD.
Change status, default bids, and targeting at the ad group level.
Enable or pause individual product ads. Choose which ASINs run and which don't.
Pause keywords, change bids. The AI can suggest new bids based on your performance data.
Add or remove negatives at the campaign or ad group level to cut wasted spend.
Change status and bids on product and category targeting for SP and SD campaigns.
Here's how we keep you in control.
New connections are read-only. Nothing changes unless you turn on Edit Mode or grant write permissions during OAuth.
Before any edit, the AI tells you exactly what it plans to do and waits for a yes. No surprises.
Who made the change, what changed, when, whether it succeeded, and where it came from (chat or MCP). All recorded.
One click to turn off Edit Mode. Or revoke MCP write permissions from your Integrations page. Back to read-only immediately.
No. Everything is read-only until you turn on Edit Mode or grant write permissions during MCP OAuth. Even then, the AI asks for confirmation before making any change, and every write is logged.
Campaigns (status, budget, bidding strategy), ad groups (status, bids), product ads (status), keywords (status, bids), negative keywords (add or remove), and targeting expressions (status, bids). You confirm each one.
Two ways. In the MAP in-app AI Chat, toggle Edit Mode on. For external AI clients (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.), grant write permissions during the MCP OAuth flow. You can revoke write access from your Integrations page at any time.
Yes. The write log records who made the change, what changed, when, whether it worked, and whether it came from in-app chat or an MCP client.
Yes. When you connect via MCP OAuth, you choose whether to grant write access. Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and any MCP-compatible client. The AI still confirms each change before applying it.
Read-only by default. Opt-in editing. You confirm every change. Everything logged.
