Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms are an addendum to the MarketplaceAdPros Terms and Conditions and apply in addition to them. Where these terms conflict with the main Terms, these terms control for the referral program only.

MarketplaceAdPros.com operates a customer referral program that rewards both you and the person you refer when they become a paying customer. By participating in the program — including by sharing your personal referral link — you agree to the terms below.

This program pays account credit. It is distinct from the affiliate program, which pays cash commissions to approved partners.

1. Eligibility

• Any MarketplaceAdPros user, including users on a free trial, may participate in the referral program.
• To be eligible to receive a referral credit, the person you refer must be a new signup creating a new account.
• You may not refer existing customers, your own additional accounts, or accounts you control directly or indirectly.

2. The Reward

• When a person you refer becomes a paying customer and remains so through the qualification period in section 4, both you and they receive a credit equal to one billing month of the smaller of your two plans, capped by the amount the referred customer actually paid for their first invoice.
• Credits are applied automatically as a customer balance against your next invoice on Stripe.
• Because the credit is based on the smaller of the two plans and the amount actually paid, a customer on a less expensive plan does not earn the full credit of a customer on a more expensive plan.

3. Referrals from Trial Users

• If you are on a free trial when you refer someone, you may still earn a referral credit at the AI Connect plan rate (currently 4 weeks of AI Connect, approximately $40).
• Your earned credit will not be applied to your account until you have been on a paid MarketplaceAdPros plan for at least 30 consecutive days. Once that condition is met, your credit is applied to your next invoice.
• If you never convert to a paid plan, your referral credit will not be applied. We may, at our discretion, age out unredeemed referral credits after a reasonable period.

4. Qualification Period

• A referral becomes eligible for a reward once the person you referred has been a paying customer for at least 30 days following their first paid invoice.
• We use this waiting period to confirm the referral was genuine and to allow for any refunds within typical refund windows before issuing the credit.

5. Reversal and Clawback

• If the referred customer's qualifying first paid invoice is refunded, disputed via chargeback, or otherwise reversed within 60 days of the original qualification date, we may reverse the referral credit on both sides.
• Once 60 days have passed from the original qualification date, the credit is final regardless of subsequent account changes, cancellations, or disputes.

6. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to investigate, decline, and reverse any referral rewards that we determine, in our sole discretion, involve abuse or are made in bad faith. Examples of behavior we treat as abuse include, but are not limited to:

• Self-referrals (referring yourself using a different email address or a different account)
• Referrals between accounts sharing the same payment method, normalized email address, household, or other personal identifiers
• Chained or pyramid referral arrangements in which a recently referred user attempts to mass-qualify multiple downstream signups within a short period
• Referrals generated by automated means, incentivized signup farms, or any activity intended to manipulate the program

Accounts found to be engaging in referral abuse may have their referral credits reversed, their referral privileges suspended, and their MarketplaceAdPros accounts terminated.

7. No Cash Equivalent

Referral credits are a discount applied against future MarketplaceAdPros service fees. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or exchanged for any other product or service.

8. Tax Treatment

Because referral credits are discounts against future MarketplaceAdPros service fees rather than payments or compensation, MarketplaceAdPros.com does not issue tax forms (such as 1099-NEC) for participation in the customer referral program. You are responsible for any tax consequences that may apply in your jurisdiction.

9. Modifications and Termination

• We may modify or end the referral program at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice.
• Credits already earned and applied will be honored under the terms in effect when they were earned.
• Pending referrals not yet qualified at the time of a program change become subject to the updated terms, or may be ended without payout if the program is terminated.
