Methodology and compliance

This page explains how we handle your data, how we do research, and how we stay in line with Amazon Ads guidelines.

Data privacy

  • Your Amazon Ads data is encrypted in storage and in transit
  • We don't share, sell, or give away your campaign data. Period.
  • You can request full deletion of your data at any time
  • We only publish performance metrics (case studies, before/after comparisons) with written client approval

Research methodology

When we publish aggregate insights across client accounts, we follow a few rules:

  • All data is anonymized. No individual client is identifiable.
  • We state the sample size (e.g., "across 112 MAP accounts")
  • We specify the time period and how metrics are calculated
  • Results reflect our client base, not all Amazon advertisers

MarketplaceAdPros original research. Analysis and opinions are our own.

Third-party data is cited with study name, organization, year, and a link where available.

Amazon Ads compliance

MAP is an Amazon Ads Verified Partner. We use approved terminology about our partnership status, follow Amazon's trademark guidelines, and don't imply any special endorsement from Amazon.

AI and automation

MAP's AI recommendations are read-only by default. You can opt in to Edit Mode, which lets the AI apply changes to your campaigns, but it asks before each one and every write is logged (who, what, when, result).

You can disable AI features or revoke write access at any time.

Our AI pulls data from the Amazon Advertising API and historical performance patterns from your own account.
