Amazon Ads, Seller Central & Vendor Central in Microsoft Copilot
Bring live Amazon advertising, sales, and inventory data into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams. Add the Marketplace Ad Pros MCP server to a Copilot Studio agent, and your team can analyze campaigns and manage Amazon accounts where they already work.
How do I connect Amazon Ads to Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot connects to Amazon Ads, Seller Central, and Vendor Central through a Copilot Studio agent that uses the Marketplace Ad Pros MCP server. In Copilot Studio, add a Model Context Protocol tool with the server URL https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp, choose OAuth 2.0 with dynamic discovery, sign in, and publish the agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams. The free consumer Copilot app does not support custom MCP servers.
Last updated: September 16, 2026. Setup steps follow Microsoft's Copilot Studio MCP documentation.
What You Need
Three things before you start.
Microsoft 365 work account
A work or school account with access to Copilot Studio. The consumer Copilot app can't add custom MCP servers.
Connected Amazon accounts
A Marketplace Ad Pros account with Amazon Ads, Seller Central, or Vendor Central connected. Connecting is free.
Connector policy allowed
MCP tools run on Power Platform connectors. If your tenant restricts custom connectors, your Microsoft admin may need to allow it.
Setup in 3 Steps
Add an MCP Tool
In Copilot Studio, open an agent and add a new Model Context Protocol tool.
Sign In with OAuth
Enter the server URL, choose OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic discovery, and sign in to Marketplace Ad Pros.
Publish to Copilot
Publish the agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams, then start asking questions.
Detailed Setup Instructions
Step 1: Add the MCP server to a Copilot Studio agent
- Open Copilot Studio and create an agent (or open an existing one).
- Go to the agent's Tools page and select Add a tool.
- Select New tool, then Model Context Protocol. The MCP onboarding wizard opens.
- For Server name, enter
Marketplace Ad Pros. - For Server description, enter a description the agent can use to decide when to call it, such as
Amazon Ads, Seller Central, and Vendor Central data: campaigns, keywords, search terms, sales, inventory, and recommendations. - For Server URL, enter
https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp
Step 2: Configure authentication and sign in
- For authentication, select OAuth 2.0, then choose Dynamic discovery.
- Select Create. Copilot Studio discovers the Marketplace Ad Pros sign-in endpoints and registers itself, so there is no client ID or secret to copy.
- In the Add tool dialog, select Create a new connection. Sign in with your Marketplace Ad Pros login and choose which permissions to grant.
- Select Add to agent.
Step 3: Publish to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams
- Test the agent in Copilot Studio's test pane with a question like "List my Amazon Ads profiles."
- Select Publish, then add the Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot channel.
- Open Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and pick your agent from the Agents list. Sharing it across your organization may need admin approval.
Connection Details
| Server name | Marketplace Ad Pros |
| Server URL | https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
| Authentication | OAuth 2.0 → Dynamic discovery |
Alternative: API key authentication
If OAuth sign-in is blocked in your tenant, use an API key. Anyone who uses the agent with this connection acts as the key's owner, so prefer OAuth for shared agents.
- Create an MCP key on the Marketplace Ad Pros Integrations page (read-only or read and write).
- In the MCP onboarding wizard, choose API key as the authentication type.
- Set Type to Query and the parameter name to
token. - Select Create, then paste your key when you create the connection.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. The consumer Copilot app at copilot.microsoft.com does not let you add custom MCP servers. You need a Microsoft 365 work or school account with access to Copilot Studio.
Building the agent requires access to Copilot Studio. Whether your team can use the published agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Teams depends on your organization's Copilot licensing, which your Microsoft 365 admin can confirm.
Choose OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic discovery. Copilot Studio finds the Marketplace Ad Pros sign-in endpoints and registers itself automatically, so there is no client ID or secret to copy. Each person signs in with their own Marketplace Ad Pros login. If OAuth is blocked in your tenant, you can use an API key instead.
Not by default. Access starts read-only. When you sign in, you can grant write access if you want it. The AI confirms each change before applying it, and every write is logged.
MCP tools in Copilot Studio run on Power Platform connectors, so your organization's data policies apply to them. If the tool is blocked, ask your Microsoft admin to allow the connector in the Power Platform admin center.
Connecting your Amazon accounts is free. A $20 two-week trial gives you full access. AI Connect starts at $10/week. Optimization plans with daily recommendations start at $149/month. Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio licensing is separate and billed by Microsoft.
