Marketplace Ad Pros vs Intentwise (2026)
Last updated: April 3, 2026
Short version
These overlap on Amazon advertising but come from different directions. MAP gives you open access to your ad data through MCP so you can use Claude, ChatGPT, or whatever AI client you prefer. Intentwise is a dedicated analytics platform with strong AMC integration, custom dashboards, and its own bidding engine. The biggest difference: MAP is an open data layer you plug into your existing AI tools. Intentwise is a self-contained analytics and optimization platform.

When MAP makes more sense
- You use Claude, ChatGPT, or n8n and want your ad data in those tools
- You want human-in-the-loop control where AI proposes and you approve
- You need Seller Central data (orders, inventory, Brand Analytics) alongside ads
- You want to start at $10/week and scale rather than committing to $500+/month
- You prefer open, flexible AI tooling over a closed platform
- You want experiment tracking to measure the impact of changes
When Intentwise makes more sense
- AMC is a core part of your advertising strategy today
- You need pre-built AMC queries, audience creation, and path-to-conversion analysis
- You want a centralized analytics cloud with Power BI integration
- You need both rule-based and algorithmic bidding in one platform
- You're an enterprise or large agency that values dedicated analytics dashboards
- You want a mature AMC product rather than waiting for upcoming integrations
Pricing
MAP starts at $10/week for AI Connect (data + MCP access). Optimization plans run $149-999/month billed annually. Enterprise pricing available.
Intentwise has multiple products: Ad Optimizer starts around $500/month for mid-sized accounts, Intentwise Explore (AMC) starts at $1,000/month, and Analytics Cloud starts at $1,500/month. Pricing scales with the number of accounts and ad spend under management.
On AMC
Intentwise has a real head start here. They were one of the first platforms to build deep AMC integration and it shows. MAP is building AMC support now (in closed beta with select partners). When it ships, the difference will be access pattern: MAP exposes AMC through MCP so you query it from Claude or ChatGPT. Intentwise keeps it in their own dashboards and Power BI.
Bottom line
If you need AMC today, Intentwise has it and MAP doesn't yet. If you want your ad data in Claude or ChatGPT with lower entry cost and human-in-the-loop control, MAP is the better fit. The gap narrows as MAP's AMC integration ships, but be honest about where you are right now.
